Eastenders, Dermot O'leary Sex Pistols

So - a few years ago I remember hearing some band- maybe S Club 7 or some other genius pop-sensation talking about when their song was played in the background on Eastenders. They said that they new they'd made an impact as soon as they heard their tune playing in the Queen Vic pub. Well- that happened to me tonight apparently! Well- I didn't see it myself but I had a few messages from mates saying they just heard 'The Mystery' on Eastenders. I'll have to watch it on BBCiPlayer to make sure and perhaps give myself a confidence boost;) My song on Eastenders: Brilliant! Talking of confidence boost- I found out last week that after I played on dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show a while back, he decided that he'd use 'The Mystery' as the music bed for his new look show for the next year- again- Brilliant! Cheers Dermot- much appreciated;) Also while I'm on a role- today I found out that I'm playing on the main stage at this years' "Live at Loch Lomond" alongside Sex Pistols, Ocean Colour Scene and Idlewild on the 3rd of August- get in! UPDATED: Right- update on my last blog a few hours ago: I just saw the bit ofEastenders featuring Rickaaaaaayyyyyyy and Bobby Davro doing a sceneaccompanied by "The Mystery".......seriously- you couldn't dream thisstuff up! ;) Doug
